What makes a great film

Appreciate film making
Explore existing short films across genres to appreciate approaches, scripts, basic techniques, audience engagement - and discover the magic of film!

Learn the basics

Get familiar with the tools
Development, Pre-production, Production, Post-Production, Writing, Location, Music, Cinematography, Actors, Colors, Editing.

Script and Shoot

Make a movie
Pick a small team and plan themes, roles and locations. Build a script and take it through the pre-production and production stages.

Publish your film

Finalise and finish
Finalise, get feedback, edit and re-edit your short film. Complete post production and publish it with Footprints Film Festival.

Meet the Team

BIDISHA ROY DAS

Program Faculty Bidisha has been a broadcast journalist and independent filmmaker for over 15 years. She has also been a television channel producer. She has designed and conducted filmmaking programs for students in schools. She has made several documentaries on art and culture and education.
She has been working in the education and development sector since 2008. She founded Anjuman, leadership through Arts in 2016 to develop 21st century skills and capacities of children and young adults through the pedagogy of art.

POONAM RAWAL

Support Facilitator Poonam has worked extensively in the education industry. She was co-leading “Topper” channel sales in the NCR and made many connections and garnered huge insights working with Schools and students. A mother of two girls studying in top US Universities she gets an exclusive coaching and parenting experience to the Inomi team.

Minimum requirements to attend the program

    A basic video camera/Camcorder/smartphone with a decent camera. A computer/laptop and free version of any video editing softwares.

Who can join this program?

    Anyone who is studying in grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 and interested in film-making.
